Winchester

$25.00

A flicker in the dark. The air is heavy with forgotten stories and velvet shadows, thick with the weight of time. Walls whisper, staircases lead nowhere, and somewhere behind you, a door creaks — though no one is there. This candle conjures the essence of a house built by grief and guided by ghosts. It smells like antique secrets, like worn velvet and polished wood, like the echo of footsteps in a room you haven't entered yet. Light it, and the room feels just as if someone, or something, has come to visit.

This candle is inspired by the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA. Sarah Winchester built this odd mansion with multiple levels, odd rooms, doors and stairs to no where to confuse the ghosts that she claimed haunted her.

-Plum, peach, violet, musk, vanilla, patchouli, italian leather

12oz Coconut-apricot wax candle with an all cotton wick

Burn time: 50+ hours

Hand made in small batches in Mountain Home, Idaho

Candle Care

-Candles have memory. It is crucial that the candle needs to burn long enough for the melt pool to be completely to the edges of the candle vessel. If you blow out the candle before it reaches the proper melt pool then it is more likely to tunnel and burn incorrectly.

-Every time you light your candle always remember to trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This helps keep the flame small and reduce soot.

-Always extinguish after 4 hours. If you wish to burn longer, allow the wax to cool, trim the wick and relight.

-As always keep out of reach of children and pets, and ensure your candle is on a stable surface and away from anything flammable.
